Vivat Bacchus is a group of South African restaurants and winebars based in two locations in central London, Farringdon and London Bridge.
As PR and Marketing manager, I oversaw all PR & Marketing activities for both restaurants.
Set out a calendar of activities to promote Vivat Bacchus restaurants, increasing awareness of individual sites as well as the overall brand.
Launched promotions to increase footfall and spend per head in both restaurants. Through working with partners such as Opentable, Squaremeal and employing digital marketing tools, both regular and seasonal promotions were successful in filling the restaurants on key dates as well as during quiet service periods.
Events and PDR marketing:
Marketed and sold Private Dining Rooms (PDR’s) at both sites. Used direct engagement (seasonal showcases) as well as directory services to increase awareness of the rooms.
Promoted and sold 'Vivat Bacchus Wine Club' events. Worked with partners such as Winerist, Yplan, Ruffl to ensure that winer dinners, weekly wine tasting events and wine festivals were fully booked.
Devised and implement a digital marketing strategy which encompassed the use of all digital marketing channels – social media, e-mail marketing and online partnerships. Implemented efforts to significantly grow the VB e-mail database through the use of competitions and incentives.
